About Sail Greece

Sail Greece Yachts was founded in 1986 by two friends, Giannis Makridakis, a professional Captain of the Greek merchant marine and Vassilis Patiniotis, an Engineer attending to the maintenance of our own sailing yachts.

Our main base is located at pier 6 in Alimos Marina in Athens, Greece.

We try to think like customers, and we care about making friends that enjoy sailing rather than clients. We are members of the Greek Professional Yacht Owners Association (SITESAP).

We charter our own privately owned sailing yachts
without any commission.

We are not a big brokerage company chartering bareboats that it does not own.
